Amanda's FUNdraiser Day

We invite you to join in our our scholarship by visiting Sage Bird October 19 at 7pm to hear from Amanda about how she is using her FUNd to seek a healthy & invested life in downtown Harrisonburg, and we encourage you to bring in your own contributions to her FUNd if you feel called.

Amanda has been with Sage Bird since we opened our doors September 2020, and we are so grateful to now have her full-time as our taproom manager. Amanda uses her gifts of organization, interpersonal communication, and resolute spirit to manage & grow Sage Bird so well.

We started this staff scholarship FUNd to help our staff invest in themselves, in something they want to know more about, something they’ve always wanted to do, or something that will improve their lives.

From Amanda: Sage Bird has been and continues to be an awesome piece of my life. During construction, I would often route my run by Sage Bird and keep track of their opening progress. When they posted they were hiring, I jumped at the opportunity to work here. Sage Bird quickly became the most beautiful source of community and friendship and support. I truly believe I have life long friends in the current (and previous) Sage Bird staff. Sage Bird and the Carlsons gave me the opportunity and support and confidence to leave teaching and take a new path. I have learned and grown along side of so many amazing people within Sage Bird.
