Wesley's Sage Bird FUNdraiser Day

We welcome you to join Wesley on his Sage Bird FUNdraiser Day, Sunday October 2 5-9pm, to learn about how he is using his Sage Bird scholarship & to participate in his FUNd.

🤍 We started this staff scholarship FUNd to help our staff invest in themselves, in something they want to know more about, something they’ve always wanted to do, or something that will improve their lives. 💛 On October 2 during Wes’s shift, give your tip to Wes to join Sage Bird in supporting his life journey to becoming his best self & settling into Harrisonburg. 

🍎Wes has been working at Sage Bird for over a year & has jumped in with Zach in cider production & distribution. He brings positive energy and great ideas to make Sage Bird the best version of itself.

❤️ From Wes:  Sage Bird has become a lot more than a job to me since I started over a year ago, because of both the people who come in to the bar and all of us who work there. It's motivating seeing my coworkers be so friendly to everyone, and encouraging when folks come in and compliment the space and the staff. We all push each other to be our best selves and genuinely want to see one another be successful in all aspects of our lives. I feel lucky to get to say that I love my job and to have been welcomed in to an industry I knew nothing about. The opportunities I have been given to learn are incredible and I can't wait to continue to grow here, both professionally and personally. Sage Bird has introduced me to so many great people and has fostered a sense of creativity within me. I feel like I can be my most authentic self and I strive to work as hard as everyone there does.
